Works well as a base for the USB heater. Though, to make the USB heat source work more consistently without stalling in a warmer temperature room, I added a thin amount of foam insulation below the screwed-in USB plate to improve the percentage of the heat being radiated to the Stirling engine.

Product Details
This is a replacement base for the glass domes. It is plastic and has a hidden recess for our USB heater. So you you can now keep your engine in a glass dome AND run by using the USB heater.
The USB heater can run from any phone charger, computer port or anything else that has a USB port.
Note: does not include the USB heater OR the glass dome.
This is only the black base and screws to attached USB heater to it.
